Salt River Trail
Route: Take US 60 (The Superstition Freeway) to Power Road, north. Power Road turns into Bush Highway and runs along the Salt River all the way to Saguaro Lake. Or, take US 60 to Ellsworth and go north over Usery Pass, which will take you to Salt River Recreation.

The Salt River Trail is a multi-use trail that runs between Phon D. Sutton and Goldfield Recreation Area.
Rating: Easy scenic hike and family friendly or novice mountain biking.
TH: The trailhead is just as you turn off Bush Hwy. at Phon D. Sutton. A small turn off and parking area is to your right and the trail runs directly east from the parking area.
Camping / Picnicking: Camping is allowed at Water Users, Coon Bluff, Goldfield and Phon D. Sutton. The fee is $9-$11 per site. You can picnic and fish all along the river, including Granite Reef Dam.
