Overview: A popular trail system, with small parking area on west side of Power Road, at Granite Reef Recreation Area (fee), or along the shoulder of Bush Hwy. past Granite Reef.
Trailheads: Just past small parking area on east side of Power Road, or north side of Bush Hwy., north of Granite Reef Recreation Area near Mine TR. 2az.us! See Map icon
Trail: Narrow, single-track.
Length: Optional.
Rating: Moderate to Difficult.
Route: Optional. Recommend you run Mine Trail counterclockwise (descending).
Complete loop: 1-3 hours.
Season: Year-round, but can be quite hot in summer.
Scenery: Scenic desert. Mine Trail is the highest point with great views of 4 Peaks, Red Mt. & Salt River.
