Highline National Recreation Trail
The Pine View Trail, part of the Highline National
Recreation Trail, snakes through stands of ponderosa pine and
high-country chaparral. All trails are well marked and posted . The
Rim Country is one of my favorite places to hike, camp, fish and
mountain bike.
Located beneath the Mogollon Rim, easily accessible from Phoenix,
the Highline National Recreation Trail is an awesome way to explore
the Tonto National Forest. See: Convenient Day Hikes
