Cabin Loop trails
Overview: In the early 1900s, this trail system was developed to link General Springs Cabin, Pinchot Cabin and the Buck Springs Fire Guard Station. The trail passes through picturesque forest atop the Mogollon Rim and consists of 4 trials: the U-Bar #28, Babershop #91, Fred Haught #22 and Houston Brothers Trail #18.
Trailhead (TH): The Rim Road FR 300, off SR 87, south of Clint's Well.
Length: 4 to 7 miles.
Rating: All moderate.
Highlights: Tall forest, grasslands, canyons, springs and perennial water sources.
Elevation: Over 6,500 feet.
Season: April - Nov.
