Overview: Trail follows historic railroad route, offering gentle grades and killer views. 
Length: 21 miles.
Rating: Moderate.
Hike Time: Best done in segments.
Directions: Big Lake TH off FR 249E, or 260 TH off SR 260 east of SR 273.
Elevation: 9,100 ft.
Season: Spring to fall.
Camping: See Rainbow Campground, Big Lake.
Niceties: All things in Hon Dah, Lakeside, Show Low.
Mountain Biking: Good, but there are some deep, loose cinders.
