Cavers are a close-knit bunch and rarely
discuss their sport with outsiders. I can understand their
concerns. Good caves are a rare commodity and we don't need some
yahoos spray painting a irreplaceable piece of terra firma.
However, no one was born a caver. Thusly, at some point, they
reached out to others for guidance and training. If you're
interested in speleology, contact The National Speleological
Society for local Grotto chapters.
