Overview: Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area features a
149-acre lake, camping, picnicking, boating, fishing, hiking and
wildlife viewing.
Directions: From Payson, take SR 260 north (2 hours) to Old
Linden Rd.; drive .6 miles to Fool Hollow Lake Rd. Or, from Mesa
take US 60 to Globe, then Show Low. 
Drive Time: Approximately 3.5 hours from Mesa.
Elevation: 6,300 feet.
Rating: Very popular.
Season: Year-round, best April - Oct.
Fees: Yes, day-use and camping. Call for current rates.
Facilities: 92 RV hookup sites, 31 developed campsites,
playground, ramadas, electricity, water, showers, restrooms, boat
ramps, hiking trails.
Boats: 8 horsepower limit.
Entrance closed: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
